Two popular Destin charter boats, Flowing Waters and Why Knot Charters, are now operating under Salty Endeavors. Salty Endeavors is a family business, and when you come aboard, we treat you like family too! Captain Parker Heagerty
Our lead captain, Captain Parker, is not only a veteran but also a born-and-raised Destin local with a lifetime of experience fishing the waters of the Emerald Coast. He is known for his friendly personality, expert guidance, and passion for putting his guests on fish. He has been fishing since he was eight years old, mastering everything from inshore fishing for Redfish and Flounder to offshore deep-sea adventures targeting Snapper, Grouper, and Mahi Mahi.
With years of experience fishing these waters, Captain Parker is dedicated to making each trip full of excitement. Simply let him know your experience level, and he will tailor your trip accordingly!
Captain Dustin Fincher
From deep sea fishing off the coast of Florida to exploring the rural mountain lakes of Alaska, Captain “Dusty” Fincher has turned his passion for the outdoors into a full-time career. For over 6 years, he’s been guiding hunting and fishing trips for outdoor enthusiasts all across the country. Nothing brings more joy to him than helping someone reel in their first fish.

1st Mate Jake Henderson
First Mate Jake brings years of experience to the crew, with a strong background in both recreational and commercial fishing. His passion for saltwater fishing began right here in Destin at the age of 8, and he's returned to these waters every year since. In addition to his time in Destin, Jake has also worked aboard several commercial fishing vessels off the coast of South Carolina.
He’s currently working toward his USCG captain’s license and is eager to soon be running his own charters. Jake’s love for the water and enthusiasm for teaching others ensures every guest has a great experience on the boat.
